12oz bottle. Disturbing phenolic disgusting aroma. Not enjoyable at all. The aroma is so harsh I can’t take it.

Deep hazy blonde and golden coloured body with a large, four centimetre tall tan head. Aroma of honey, grass and herbs with a hint of alcohol and a very light amount of hops. Medium-bodied; Sweet flavour of honey, earth, flowers and hops with some floral and grassy notes as well. Aftertaste shows some hops that are low in alpha acids, some grass, a bit of honey sweetness, some malt and a bit of grain. Overall, definitely not an Imperial IPA and much more of a Belgian Tripel, especially since it isn’t very hoppy. Still nice to try from Louisiana by way of New York to Washington back to New Jersey, but not really worth trying when you have much better options! I sampled this 65 cL bottle purchased from New Beer Distributors in New York, New York on 01-July-2016 for US$10,00 sampled in my hotel room in Newark, New Jersey after driving from Washington on 16-September-2016.

Bottle 12fl.oz. [ As Bayou Teche Cocodrie ].Clear medium yellow color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, pale malt, moderate hoppy, orange - citrus, tropical fruit, light to moderate yeasty. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a long duration, fruity, tropical fruit, pale malt. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20150116]

Bottle @ fonefan tasting. Hazy golden with a white head. Aroma is sweet, malty, caramel and moderate hoppy - grapefruit. Flavor is quite sweet and rather bitter. Dry and rather bitter finish. 160115

Bottle. Clear bright golden color, medium white head. Aroma of slightly herbal orange peel. Taste is citrus and pine, slightly medicinal. OK.

22oz bottle pours a clear gold with a ring of white head. Nose is very sweet, tropical fruit, lemon, candy sugar. Flavor is candy, lemon, yeast, vegetal. Full bodied, sticky finish.

Sampled at Rattle N Hum, NYC. Pours hazy golden with a white head. Aroma of vegetables, herbs, caramel malt. Flavour is moderate sweet and over moderate bitter. Medium bodied with light carbonation.
