First brewed in 2003. Pale in color but packed with flavor, Mojo reflects the perfect balance of hop bitterness and malt character. The unique Amarillo hop creates a big, grapefruit-like citrus flavor and aroma, making Mojo a very zesty IPA that's crisp and refreshing.

Bottle pour into shaker pint glass from Cigarette City. Appearance is slightly hazy pale orange with greenish tinge, light sparkle, minimal white fizzy head with poor retention, and fair sudsy lacing. Aroma is caramel malt, musty, earthy hops, citrus background. Taste is more sweet malts than bitter earthy hops but a balance. Palate is medium bodied with thick texture, average carbonation and finish as taste. Overall, this was more pale ale than IPA with malt dominance but this was also a little elderly so that may have skewed things.

Tap, nitro pour. Hazy medium gold-copper with a nitro head. Nose of pine, oranges, grapefruit. Sweet and malty, apricots, a bit stale. Nitro really doesn’t work.
