Can 473ml @ Rasmus. Pours black with a tan head. Aroma has notes of roasted malt, chocolate, vanilla and cocoa. Taste is medium sweet and light bitter with a long chocolate, vanilla and cocoa finish. Body is full, texture is oily, carbonation is soft.

Can. A black one, topped by a small, dense light tan head. Quite oily, Dark chocolate, coffee, vanilla and molasses notes in the aroma. Some alcohol and oat. It’s full-bodied, lightly warming and smooth, with not too much sweetness. Dark chocolate, vanilla, coffee and dark sugar. Hints of licorice. Lasting finish. A very pleasant one, but might be a bit much to drink alone. 231124

Draught@CBC2016. Deep brown chestnut colour with a mediumsized beigeish brown head. Aroma is vanilla, sweet malts, some chocolate cake, mild roast, wood and quite sweet dried fruits. Flavour is sweet malts, chocolate, lactose and some slight vanilla with a bit of roasted and alcohol tones to it.

Tap @ MBCC 2017. Aromas of roasted malts, dark fruits, chocolate, vanilla, coffee, bread. Taste is bitter, roasty, coffee, malt, dark chocolat, light vanilla.

Pours black, no head. Smell is sharp, roasty. Taste is full, sweet, sharp, ashy. Not much vanilla. Roasty, ashy back. Vanilla does show in the late aftertaste.

23 February 2019. (Tasting formerly known as) RBBWG. Cheers to all, thanks Kraddel for the hospitality! Hazy black with a thin, unstable, foamy, dark beige head. Strong aroma of pure vanilla, custard, crème brûlée, milk chocolate, candied fig, faint cinnamon, brownie dough, 'speculoos'. Taste is medium malty sweet, chocolate larded with vanilla custard supported by a medium roasted bitterness, hints of coffee roast, fondant, roasted nuts; spicy edges of cinnamon & speculoos, vague dried & candied fruits too. Dryish, herbal & earthy hoppy finish, lingering vanilla, mocha, some toast, warming coffee liqueur alcohol to top it off. Full body, oily texture, fizzy carbonation. Very good to say the least.

23/02/2019 - bottle shared on BBGG @Kraddel's place. Black colour, small tanned head. Nose is dark malts, vanilla, milk chocolate. Taste is roasted malts, vanilla, milk chocolate, dark chocolate, velvety. Nice!!
