Charlton draught, as pictured, 12/5/25.
Hmm, that doesn't smell half bad for Galaxy! Juicy stone fruit, lots of kumquat and passion fruit. Good spice and, importantly, no herb or big spruce. Not even the typical big chalkiness. Light bread and honey from the malt gently balance.
Spicy as hell with some drying chalk and heavy mineral. Some sprucey astringency but not too bad. Odd how light and bright the nose is and yet the flavor is a bit given to some of the less desirable qualities of this hop in its current state. Tough to compete with the Galaxy I had 7 years ago (my last rating of this). Just a bit too chalky-drying-sprucey here, though there are still lots of positive qualities. Fruity, malty, spicy and having interesting tropical notes.
Smooth, juicy, fresh hops

From a pint can at the Dec 7 RB gathering. Pours a hazy straw with an off white head. Aromas are floral with pineapple. Flavors are moderately sweet fruit and bitter citrus.

Very fresh hops. Tangerine and lime. Pours hazy yellow with good head and lacing. Tangy end. Green onion on high. Tall can.

Pint can pours with a murky opaque dull papery gold body that supports a near tight head of foam that leaves behind some spotty lacing. The modest aroma offers up tropical notes like mango and guava as well as a sense of melon in the background. The taste delivers mango and cantaloupe and fresh chunks of pineapple and becoming a bit more guava and honeydew like to midway. It has modest honey like sweetness below the soft juiciness going on as well as thin layers of pith and rind like fruity hop bitternes. Nice IIPA with little sense of the ABV.

Canned on 4-3-19. Aroma of tropical fruit, marijuana, grass. Flavor follows with some mild tropics. Soft airy texture. Signature soft malt backbone that allows the hops to shine.

440ml can from Tree House. Canned 01/15/19. Smooth, grainy malty and tropical fruity with some grass, herbal notes, pine and grapes. Clean and crisp, not quite as fruity as the Bbbrighttt w/Galaxy. Still solid crisp and herbal malty IPA.
