Bügelverschlußflasche: Skunky-yeasty nose with a grassy-hoppy background, golden and hazy with a creamy white head; moderate bitter-sweet flavour, creamy MF, light bodied; slightly lingering hoppy-bitter and sweet-malty finish. Odd aroma, but all in all well crafted by hessian standards…

swing top bottle 500ml.-Cloudy yellow coloured, medium sized white head, yeasty nose with mild touch of fruits. Moderate malty, fruity and yeasty with flowery hoppy finish and aftertaste. Pleasant zwickel.

(draught at the Biergarten of the brewery) Hazy, pale golden colour with a big and persistent foamy white head. Slightly sweet and yeasty spicy malt aroma with shy notes of citrus and flowery hops. Light bitter flavour with a rounded malty sweetness, soft biscuity and subtle fruity malty taste; sweet malt-accented finish with a light hops character. Süffig and pleasant (05.VIII.09).

Zart blumig-getreidiger Antrunk mit etwas wässriger Herbe. Die Herbe festigt sich, verzieht sich aber gleichzeitig in den Hintergrund. Das Bier wird hier mehr vom Hopfen bestimmt, der sich auch mit einer wenig bitteren Komponente bemerkbar macht. Ausgewogen, etwas getreidig, wie auch im Antrunk sehr blumig, etwas grasig. Auch im Abgang ausgewogen, hier wir das Pils aber schnell recht schwach. Wenig hopfig, schwach herb. Danke an Erzengel. Test vom 28.12.2008, Gebinde: Glasflasche Noten: 11,10,9,8,8,9 - 9,15

Hazy blond color, with medium sized head, and apparently low carbonation. It has a nice aroma of malt, with some biscuity crispness. Dry mouthfeel; the malt flavor is not too bad but somehow anonymous, with a papery side; the bitterness is strong; the flavor is less elegant than the aroma.
Pleasant, probably one of the few interesting German beers available in bottles.

Cloudy blond beer, generous creamy head. Nice hop aroma, less hoppy/herbal than the other beers from the same brewery. Same impression for the taste, not too much dry, strong final, not enough hop character.
