An XXXtra Strong lager, Gordon Finest Platinum, a pure gem with great character, is at the very top of the strong lager category. Its high degree of alcohol gives it a powerful taste and an undeniable virility, heritage of the famous Gordon Highlander regiments. A force to be reckoned with, as though extracted from rocks that are millions of years old. Try if you can ! Gordon Finest Platinum, the most exclusive of strong sensations; in moderation of course !

50 cl. can @ home, bought somewhere in Belgium. Old yellow with a thin white head. Sweet aroma. Supersweet taste due to the alcohol with a metallic sidetaste. Really bad.

Just did a 50 cl. can of this outside with my team manager, straight for, the can chilled. This is what I see the bums drink when they have some extra cash. Taste is a grainy, industrial strength BE pilsner with light windex citrus and over rubbing alcohol, raw and upsets the stomach easily like the other swill Gordon’s. It is an easy way to get drunk if you don’t mind being nauseous. Quite light and clean in an industrial rubbing alcohol way. XXXstrength according to the can.

Again a very bad beer from this serie. Very sweet and burning alcohol. No hops, no malt, nothing but sugar, sweeteners and alcohol.

Bought in Brussels from some night store (along with some others I didn’t have in my hotel room, thank goodness). Best by mid Dec 2007, drank mid Dec 2006. This 50cl can was poured into two Thistle glasses, both halves look good, pale gold with a thin wispy, white head. Aroma of lemons and other citrus type fruits, slight bleach smell also. The alcohol takes over completely, but before it does their is a hoppy flavour that is also very pronounced. This is not an English Pale Ale, I don’t know what it is either, but if you like your beers strong and getting waisted swiftly, this is your babe. It is like a good lager with an idiot dropping a double vodka in when you are not looking!
