Bottle at KØ07. Clear golden colour, small white head. Caramelly flavour, very peppery and harsh. Too much pepper. Way unbalanced.

Bottled. A golden beer with next to no head. The aroma is sweet with strong notes of alcohol and fruit, but also a light metallic note from the alcohol. The flavor is sweet with notes of caramel, fruit, alcohol, and metal, and the body is quite thick.

(Can 50 cl) Clear, yellow with an off-white head. Sweetish aroma of malt and alcohol. Medium body with sweet malt notes and a brutal finish filled with bittering hops and alcohol. Hard to imagine, that this is an ale. It really resembles a primitive European Malt Liquor. And it’s a joke that this beer is now marketed in sophisticated 75 cl bottles as an exclusive product. Sample from bottle at Ølbaren. Pours filtered orange. Aroma is malty and hoppy. Taste is sweet malty with a soft mouthfeel. Finish is bitter, slight sour and spicy. Endd dry.

Bottled at Akkurat. Clear golden, brief airy head. Aroma of strawberry esters, glue and thinner. Extremely sweet with clean mouthfeel. Saccharine and syrup tries to keep the onslaught of alcohol back, but first some estery higher alcohols seep through and then in the finish the floodgates bursts open to the cheap grappa-like burning alcohol. Belgian malt liquor?

Golden color. The aroma is too weak. The flavor is also not special, but drinkable; medium thick body, not oily, strong bitterness, the alcohol warms a lot in the end.
They didn’t need to put such a simple drinkable Strong Lager in a fancy 75cl bottle like that.

Golden orange beer, heavily carbonated; good yellowish head, slowly disappearing. Some alcohol, sweet-ish, sweet condensed milk, whisky-like finish. Fully burning sensation, raw malty-alcoholic taste. Sweet-sugar-cloying builds up gradually. Peppery flavour and MF, partly the alcohol. Alcohol is obvious but compared to its actual content, relatively subdued. Fiery throatwarming after some time. raw, terribly unrefined beer. If this is an ale, about which I don’t hazard any guess, then this is the top-fermenting equivalent of malt liquor Remains where it is brewed. I do hope not Palm. My guess? Bavaria at Lieshout!
