Bottle picked up from denn's, Dachau and consumed at home Attenkirchen, Bavaria, Thursday 4th April 2019 listening to TVAM and cooking Chicken and Chorizo Lasagne. Pours dark very brown with a large foamy light beige head. A sprinkling of burnt sugar on the nose, chocolate, molasses, sticky but with a nice little oomph ...thick in the mouth, busy carbonation.

Bottle. Pours cloudy very dark brown with airy tan head. Clear aroma of roast and malt, with notes of fruit and touches of yeast. Bitter flavour of roast and alcohol, with sweetish notes of fruit and malt and touches of hops. Bitter, roasty and boozy aftertaste with fruity hints. Decent but rather heady, and the alcohol bitterness could be a tad less aggressive.

Bottle, 9.1%. Salty, bready aroma, dark bread. Almost black colour, seems cloudy. Small stable tan head. The flavour is bready and ashy in a pleasant way. There is a little salty and sweet liquorice. Medium bitterness. Well-balanced. Good mouthfeel. Fruity and jammy notes, but not sweet. Spicy and strange, but nice. Creamy aftertaste.

Bottle 33 cl. Pours black with a vague, orangey hue and a creamy, light brown head. Soft roast aroma, more chocolate than roastiness. Rich and extremely smooth body, again chocolatey, some vanilla with some warming alcohol in the finish. Super duper velvety delicious. 230119
