Aroma seems fairly hop forward with a lot of tropical fruit, citrus and a background note of pine resin. The hop is more herbal than straight fruity, but the mango and peach do show up with the typical citrus and pine. Medium low caramel malt notes compliment the hop rather well. Pours a fairly clear copper color with a moderately sized white head that shows pretty nice retention and moderate lacing. Faint legs. Flavor is similar to the aroma but is not as hop forward. Initial light graininess and cracker notes with some light caramel. The hops are less prevalent, or at least take on a much less fruity character. Some dank, earthy spice notes with some grapefruit and other citrus. Light alcohol note in the finish. Finishes fairly dry with some lingering bitterness and hop resin. Mouthfeel is medium light bodied, with a hint of wateriness. Medium carbonation, low astringency and medium low alcohol warmth. Overall a nice example of mosaic hops. It's really interesting how different the hop character is in the aroma compared to the flavor. The mouthfeel seems a little thin to me and the alcohol a touch hot, but otherwise very nice. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
