Bit of funk in with the tropical thickness.

Super muddy brown color. Fairly unappealing looking. Mouth feel is a bit too carbonated, but decent citrus and gummy bear notes. Not bad but not as good as last year

Hazy deep orange amber color. Fresh bright oranges, pine and citrus notes. Not remotely like a NE IPA in the nose.medium full body, aggressive bitterness, lots of citrus and pine notes. Some biscuit notes. Quaffable. Very carbonated. The hops really sing. Much better than regular snow monkey, but I assume it's just an unfiltered version.

On tap at AB as everywhere lately as "New England IPA", lightly opaque gold and it has an ultra-juicy aroma. The body is imbued with a raspy carbonation and a lush tropical cocktail hoppiness but it has a sharp green pine bitter finish to it as well. Quite a good one but I hope they make New Engi-land again, I preferred that.

Bottle from Shinshu Osakemura, bottle does not specify about Fuji Rock but as its from the latest batch, it has to be that. Pours cloudy dark orange, some nice thick off-white foam that stays around fora bit. Fruity pineapple-mango NE nose, nicely aromatic, grassy hops and thirst-inducing. Taste has some decent bitterness, not only juice but also something a bit harsher. Has less ABV and also probably somewhat less body compared with New Engi-Land, so that’s why. Still very drinkable and leaves a long dry grassy-herbal bitter linger. Shiga Kogen is awesome.

Tap at Bungalow. Very cloudy orange, a bit muddy, with a fine, low head. Nice juicy fruit nose, oranges, passion fruit, mango. Sweet, fruity, juicy flavor, spicy, cedar and pepper notes, mango, peach. Strange, astringent, and slightly acidic finish almost ruins it.
