Black bottle from spar in zaanse schaans, cant see it. A distinct burnt and metallic flavor, orange, grapefruit and herbs. Dark bread, cookies, rust, woos. Taste malty and quite bitter, sticky texture, long bitter finish but no flavor persisting, sensible alcohol.

Bottle. Amber color. Peach, citrus and some spicy notes in the aroma. Malt, overripe fruit, butter and white pepper in the flavor. Soft oily notes. Decent.

30/VI/19 - 33cl bottle from Albert Heijn @ Abeel's place, BB: 29/IX/20 - (2019-920) Thanks to Abeel for sharing the bottle!
Clear orange beer, big aery irregular white head, little stable, falls down quickly. Aroma: malty, grains, some citrus, little soapy. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: very malty, grains, bit oxidized, some citrus, little fruity, soft bitterness, some grapefruit. Aftertaste: herbal bitterness, dry, more european style hops I think. Spicy, little peppery, malty, metallic finish.

T: malty backbone, sweet tangerine, orange, vaguely tropical fruits, peach, medium dry on the palate, bit cheesy, herbal, decent bitterness, medium body and carbonation, for me not bad, enjoyed, 33cl bottle from Beerwulf webshop.

East Coast IPA (at least intended as such) made in Holland; bottle from an Albert Heijn supermarket there. Thick, frothy, snow white, tightly but irregularly lacing, stable head, more or less clear pale orangey warm golden robe with fierce sparkling. Aroma of old dried mandarin peel, bitter honey, withering chervil and basil, overripe pumpkin, banana peel, moist cigarette tobacco, white onions and vague ‘puttekenslucht’ (sewer water) lurking in the background. Crisp, fruity onset, harshly stinging overcarbonation as feared, very minerally and distracting from the – admittedly subtle – green banana and apricot fruitiness; cereally maltiness, quite neutral and straightforward, phenolic smoky accent retronasally (almost as in burning rubber), but then finally some oniony and citrusy hoppiness shows up, adding quite long, spicy, bit earthy bitterness but not nearly enough New World fragrance for the style that was intended here. Drinkable, but far from memorable even as an IPA in general, let alone an East Coast one.

Fles gekregen van Roelzie1986. Het is een oranje geel bier met een wit schuim. Het heeft een fruitige wat hoppige geur. De smaak is moutig, fris en bitter.

Tight white fluffy head stayed on a hazy dark orange coloured still body. Fruity orange & malt aroma. Medium bodied, tingly to the fore with smooth cloying back. Bitter hoppy tastes of pine, citrus & pith with long tangy finish
