Tasty milk stout, striking a nice balance between chocolate and coconut without growing clingy or cloy. Hints of coffee cherry acidity, raisin, and vanilla, while dry java notes lead to a dark chocolate fade. Pours brown-black with a brief off-white head and spotty lacing. Creamy texture makes for easy drinking. Good pint.

Refrigerated 12 oz. aluminum can poured into a glass. Medium brown with small beige head. Aroma is coffee, medium body, low carbonation, and little lacing. Taste is coffee and chocolate.

12oz can pours a straight black with some sticky, foamy tan head. Nose has lots but all things in moderation: chocolate, malt, licorice, some Mounds bar, some cola, a little Malta. Flavor is chocolate soda, mounds bar, earthy cocoa nib, cola, some raisinette. Finishes lightly sweet but also reasonably dry for what its working with.

Can from Maekchu. Rich dark chocolate nose, brown sugar, coconut, wood. Sweet brown sugar and chocolate flavor, cinnamon, coconut, coffee. Rich and delicious, with not too much coconut that it takes over. Great.

Another Top 50 shared by N~cheers! Milky chocolate on a pitch black body. The taste is Graham biscuit, dark chocolate and coconut. This is really good. Brown sugar. I liked this more than the pilsner but then again I prefer porters to pilsners in general...

12 ounce can thanks to Maekchu. Pours a pitch black color with a large light brown head. A interesting chocolate oatmeal nose. Lactose, sweet roast, some caramel, sugary sweet coffee. The coconut is light at easy to mix into lactose and coffee but it is really nice. Come together really well.

Draft at the Brick Store, Decatur, GA. very dark brown bordering on black. Without much head to speak of. Cocoa nibs are in abundance in the aroma, with some chocolate Horlicks with liquorice. Tastes sweet, and unabashedly so. There’s a lovely balance with a bitter chocolate note. Long bittersweet finish, and very well carbonated. A symphony in chocolate.

Can @ weekly tasting shared with Dutchdrebus and Joes. Dark brown, dark red-brown color, small to average sized tan head. Smell and taste malts, light cocos, a bit more after it warms up a bit more, moderately sweet with a hint of sweet malts. Quite nicely balanced, quite like it. Nice sweet stout.
