Pale yellow with a medium size white head that faded quickly. Dry and musty, a bit phenolic and a hint of apple. Medium finish and body.

From a pint can. Pours a crystal clear pale gold with a scant white head. Aromas of apple. Flavors are slightly sweet and quite dry and delicate.

Super pale, light ghostly white with an ultra-fast (as usual) dying head that doesn't show at all, after a few seconds after a vigorous pour. Aroma of light apples, grain, a heavy dose of very dry pepper and some light oak without anything else - very dry and pungent without much else at all, aside from some light alcohol. Light-bodied; Deep appley flavour with some light grass and dry yeast and oak notes with a little dose of pure caster sugar with a faint spice note of coriander seed and allspice and only a touch of more assertive and grainy notes with the alcohol hitting at the end. Aftertaste shows a nice and mellow grassy and herbal bite with some alcohol and definite coriander seed and dry freshness noticeable, but a bit understated with the profile and the apple bite here. Overall, a very dry, subdued and pungent cider with some good notes, and a noticeable, but perhaps underwhelming pungent character. I sampled this sixteen ounce can, purchased from Eataly in New York (Downtown), New York on 13-August-2018 for US$4,20 sampled at home in Washington on 22-October-2019, just over a year later.

From the can. Apple and yeast aromas. Soft with light apple dust upfront turning to a quick tart apple that quickly dries into the warm meringue finish.

On tap at Citizen, pours a hazy dull blonde, no head. Nose is very dry, with Belgian yeast and dry apple skins. Flavour is along the same lines, with bone dry apple skins, gentle acidity and a light mustiness. Nice gentle palate, finishing bone dry. Good stuff.

Can. Pours very pale yellow with very small frothy whitish head, light green apple aroma, earthy taste typical to Belgian yeast, thin smooth body, long earthy apple finish. Very easy to drink, dry.

Keg at Citizen Cider, Burlington. Hazy pale yellow. Fruity nose with some baking yeast. Dryish with medium body and clean mouthfeel. Tart apples, notes of cinnamon and marzipan. Reminiscent of dried apple chips.
