Can. Apple, a bit of apple pie, but dries out. Very pale yellow. Dry apple flavor, a bit of spice from the yeast. Ok. Crisp and light.

This was poured into a wine glass.
The appearance was a hazy burnt orange color with no head nor lacing (hey, its cider, go figure, not worried, I get it).
The smell, well, it smells like apple cake.
The taste was more cider-like, apple and boozy sweet. Light sour aspects end up coming through.
On the palate, this one sat about light bodied with a fair sessionability about it. Carbonation definitely hits like a cider, somewhat bold and some semi-sour harsh qualities hitting my tongue in all of the right spots.
Overall, its a good cider. I believe Citizen Cider did what they wanted to with this one. I might be able to come back to this.

Tap at CC. It pours cloudy gold with a small white head. The nose is earthy, spicy Belgian yeast, wheat, apple skin and bread. The taste is dry, lightly bitter, earthy, bread, spice, some astringency, barnyard and a touch of apple skin with a dry finish. Medium body and fine, prickly carbonation. An unusual mash-up for sure. OK.

Draft at Citizen Cider, 7/5/15
Clear with minimal color, light yellow notes. Fairly dry, and the Belgian yeast adds that noticeable flavor as well. I liked how this worked. Finishes clean and a little tingly.

Draft at the Citizen. Hazy gold in color with this lasting head. Aroma is mild Belgian yeast and lemons mixed with apples. Flavor shows a mild yeast character with the lemons and apples through the center of the cider. The finish has a light spice hint with a crisp aftertaste; it is similar to a Wit bier. Could be a nice gateway cider into other ciders or Belgian beers.

Bomber from Winooski Beverage Warehouse. Pours a hazy straw color with a fizzy white head that quickly fades. Aroma of soft apple notes, sweet with a bit of bread. The taste is tart apples, earth, apple skins. Medium bodied, well balanced, moderate carbonation. Solid cider.

SECOND rating of this. Picked up this bomber for $6.99 @ the St. J Co-Op.Off-cloudy dark yellow color. might be prettier since there is a little yeast sediment with time. The nose is actually pretty muted, light on the sulphur and high on the crisp apple, almost no sweetness. well, Iβl be darn. it tastes like a wit-bier. strange stuff. Still lots of apple but certainly muted. crisp finish with lingering wheat wit lemon and bitterness. Not sure Iβm a huge fan though.
