Offline is the Oedipus version of a Witbier. It has flavors from different grains, Belgian ale yeast and European hops, meaning it is a citrusy, fruity and slightly spicy and refreshing Summer beer.

Bottle from Speciaalbierpakket. Aroma is quite wheaty, spicy yeast, fruity, citrus, floral, mild coriander, soft tropical and herbal lemongrass notes. Flavour is moderate sweet and moderate to medium bitter. Body is under medium. Not ’just another Wit’, has a varied floral spicy fruity aroma. Very good!

Clear auburn, tall frothy macropore beige head, half-way lasting, fair lacing. Aroma roasted malt, liquorice, caramel, hopjes, dark fruits. Taste medium sweet and light bitter, roasted malt, liquorice, caramel, dark chocolate, bit resinous. Medium body, oily texture, soft carbonation, dry malty sweetbitter aftertaste, liquorice and earthy notes, well-made, good one.

Oedipus Offline White Ale 4.5% Semi-opaque gold with a soapy white head and a citrusy wheat aroma. The body is a tad thin and flavor rough but overall it’s an ok middle of the road wheat beer. BB 20/9/2019

On tap @ Eetcafé de Poort, Utrecht. Hazy yellow with a white head. Coriander aroma with some light citrus, some wheat creaminess. Medium bitter-sweet-sour with a light bitter finish. Nice Oedipus take on my otherwise not favorite beer style.
