On tap at Container. Pours a dark brown with a beige head. Dry, bready malts, some brown sugar on the nose. Flavour has bready malts, dry caramel, a bit sweet. Nice and malty, pretty solid.

Poured from 650mL bottle (I know I've tried this before, but apparently never rated it so...). Dark brown with full light beige head. Light nuttiness, caramel and cereal malt, average.

Can that pours a clean copper colour with a frothy light-mocha coloured head, good retention and some foamy lacing. Roasted and caramel malt base in the nose with some hints of maple syrup, coffee, molasses. Fairly sweet aromas, but some hops do come out to calm things down. In the taste, this is exactly what happens. Hops cut the sweetness and adds a little dryness in the finish. Mild dark fruits, good roastiness and light bitterness. Quite an easy-drinking, slightly wee heavy - Scottish Ale.

This Wee Heavy poured a deep, near black colour with a light tan coloured head. Nice lacing. Scents include caramel, molasses and very light coffee aromas. First swig was delicious. Smooth, creamy and teaming with flavour. Tastes of caramel, roasted malt and coffee with a little chocolate. Finish is a little sweet and thick with malty goodness lingering forever.

On tap. Pours a clear red-amber with a medium, creamy, long lasting, tan head that leaves curtains of lace. Mild, sweet aroma of toasted malt, caramel, raisin and light peat. Sweet flavour of grainy malt, caramel, toffee and light smoke with a dry finish. Medium body with a smooth, oily texture and average carbonation. Not bad, but there was nothing angry about this one.
