Bottle. Copper color. Aroma of sweet pumpkin, estery yeast, wheat and amber caramel. Flavor has lots yeast esters, chemical sweet pumpkin, iron and a bitter caramel finish. It’s allright.

Blue Moon's Harvest Pumpkin Ale 5.7% This is popping up at many major retailers. I got mine at Aeon Liquors but I spotted it for less at Liquor Mountain. It pours a reddish amber with a fast dissipating beige head of foam. It's got a nicely spiced nose of nutmeg, allspice & cloves. Medium bodied with a scratchy carbonation. A tad too gassy. The taste is sweet, nutty, vegetal pumpkin flesh and light spices. Overall, nice aroma & passable flavor means it is a decent option for those looking for a low-budget pumpkin ale in Japan. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

12 ounce bottle into pint glass, best before 1/11/2016. Pours slightly cloudy orange/amber color with a 1-2 finger fairly dense off white head with good retention, that reduces to a thin cap that lingers. Light spotty soapy lacing clings on the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation retaining the cap. Aromas of pumpkin, cinnamon, nutmeg, clove, caramel, brown sugar, wheat, toasted biscuit, and herbal/toasted earthiness. Nice and pleasant aromas with good balance and complexity of pumpkin/spices and dark/bready malt notes; with solid strength. Taste of pumpkin, cinnamon, nutmeg, clove, caramel, brown sugar, wheat, toasted biscuit, and herbal/toasted earthiness. Light-moderate herbal/spice bitterness on the finish; with lingering notes of pumpkin, cinnamon, nutmeg, clove, caramel, brown sugar, toasted biscuit, and herbal/toasted earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Good complexity, balance, and solid robustness of pumpkin/spice and dark/bready malt flavors; with a good malt/bitterness balance and zero cloying flavors after the finish. Medium carbonation and body; with a very smooth, lightly creamy/bready, and slightly sticky mouthfeel that is okay. Alcohol is very well hidden with minimal warming present after the finish. Overall this is a solid pumpkin ale style. All around good balance, complexity, and solid robustness of pumpkin/spices and dark/bready malt flavors; and very smooth and easy to drink. A pleasantly enjoyable offering.

This has been sitting in the fridge at work forever so I finally drank it. A tick is a tick. Brown pour. Lots of sickeningly sweet pumpkin pie spice. Bottle.

Bottle. Copper-amber color with small foamy white head that dissipates immediately, light pumpkin aroma, cinnamon flavored pumpkin taste, medium carbonation, thin body, abrupt finish. Good attempt at at a pumpkin ale.

Bottle: Poured amber with a whispery off white head. Aroma is pumpkin, spice, and nutmeg. Taste is watery pumpkin and spices.

Reviewed from notes.
The appearance had a brown/orange body and leaves a small one finger off-white head that dies within a half minute. Some spotty lacing is left and the body is too dark for any carbonation to be seen rising.
The smell had some bitter pumpkin notes with some slight spices such as nutmeg, clove and cinnamon.
The taste had the previously mentioned flavors with some light malts entering in.
On the palate, it sat about a medium with slight harshness on the tongue.
Overall, this is an average pumpkin beer. I’ll drink the rest, but probably won’t seek it out again.

Draft. A- Pumpkin, spices. A- Amber color, clear liquid, white head. T- Pumpkins, cinnamon, spices, bread. P- Medium body, thin sticky texture, average carbonation, spiced finish. O- I hate to say it, but I really like this beer. The pumpkin flavor is balanced great and when served in a glass with a cinnamon brown sugar rim, it’s perfect for a Thanksgiving desert beer.

Bottled, 0.355l. Clear orange golden color with small creamy, mostly diminishing off-white head and sparkling appearance. Aroma of mild caramel malt, herbal hops, pumpkin, cinnamon, clove and nutmeg. Taste starts with light sweet malt, follows sour grainy and vegetably with sweet and spicy pumpkin flavor without any bitterness in the aftertaste. Medium body, syrupy texture and fizzy carbonation in palate. Poured this pumpkin ale under full moon...
