Keyaki. Nice, subtle smokiness, bit of caramel. Body is good, quite soft. Easy drinking, little sweetness.

Keyaki Fall 2015. Clear copper with a small off-white head. Light roasted caramel with some light bacon and maple on the nose. Malty flavor with some light sweetness and mild smoke. Very conservative smoked beer, but enjoyable. Good dry finish with some light smoke.

Tap at Beer Belly Brewpub. Pale orange-amber, lightly hazy, fine head. Solid smoke nose, caramel. Estery, smoky flavor, carmel. Nice flavor. Light and easy drinking.

Outsider Brewing Scottish Smoked Ale 5.5% on tap at Beer Belly Brewpub. It’s got a nice smokey aroma that blends mesquite, peat and malt sweetness. Soft. It’s a beautiful brass color. Medium bodied with a prickly carbonation. The taste is a good mix of smoke, caramel & tobacco leaf. One of the nicer Outsider beers I’ve had.
