Large white head atop a not-as-Trillium-hazy-as-usual golden body. Good retention.
This was a lovely one all around. Light citrus, papaya, and other plentiful tropical fruits and soft honey and vanilla-laden malts in the background, with no heavy resin/pine or any doughy/yeasty dullness. Bitterness is certainly there, but never builds up to the point of fatiguing the palate and in turn balances the supple maltiness, with no sweetness building up either. Very nicely balanced, highly flavorful, no aspirin-like flavors. A small amount of tangy/punchiness is the only detractor here, but otherwise pretty on par with Congress Street, albeit a little lighter and with less lush/juicy hoppiness. No alcohol noted, good attenuation, fine, engaging carbonation.

Aroma: The aroma is peachy hops, some grapefruit, melon, and some floral hops as well
Appearance: A hazy orange juice body with a frothy off-white head and fairly heavy, streaky lacing
Flavor: The taste is hoppy, less sweet/juicy than the aroma suggests, mid-bitter for the style
Palate: Medium bodied, rather clean, easy drinking for a beer of this gravity, average carbonation
Overall Impression: Working well on my way to hitting 5000 in 2015! 200 beers to go. Heading your way 5k. I liked this one quite a bit. The aroma is just top notch. Really juicy and hoppy. Fresh. On style bitterness in the flavor, which loses a bit of the juiciness from the aroma, but is still quite nice. Overall, the freshness of the hops really comes through, the bitterness level feels spot on, and it's a 7.1% beer that drinks more like a 5% beer. Could be dangerous in cans. Out of a 750, I drink this one way too quickly. Exactly one week ago today I was drinking one of these while having lobster on Nauset Beach. Sadly, this one was not consumed under that circumstance (that's a difficult circumstance to match!). Very impressed by the way these guys handle hops. Very much looking forward to trying more Trillium on my next trip up to Boston.

Growler from the brewery. Pours clear, yellow-gold with a foamy, white head. The nose has some juicy grapefruit, dank melon, dry pale malts. Light to medium sweet flavor with nice pithy citrus, more grapefruit, some minerals. Medium bodied with fine carbonation. Finishes dank and juicy, nice grapefruit, melon, tangerine. Very well balanced and clean.

Draft at Deep Ellum. Pours cloudy orange yellow with white head. Nose/taste of hops, pine, tropical fruit, orange rind, light caramel malt and tangerine zest. Medium body. Bone dry finish.
