With an intense and very, very special flavour. That's our Epidor. A beer that's as good as it sounds, because an Epidor couldn't be better. Made with caramel malt. Yes, you heard right, caramel malt, and with such a compact body and unique aroma that each sip will be an awesome experience.

Caramel golden color with a fine head. Some lacing. Good intensity in the aroma. Nice malt profile, not to sweet as these often are. Medium (+) body and a fine carbonation level. Absolutely drinkable.

33cl bottle in my Barcelona hotel room on the evening of 18th Jan 2017. Clear amber pour, white crown on top. Malty from start to finish with my sweet tooth picking up both caramel and toffee in the nose and taste. OK if you prefer beers with a sweet malty base like I often do.

330ml bottle into glass, Movida next door. Faint malt nose. Dark amber beer with solid white head. Good body, smooth texture. Malty finish with alcohol zing. Good beer, much more than a euro lager.

On tap @ the brewpub. Looks decent with a amber golden body, crystal clear of course and a nice little really dense white lacing head on the top. Soapy aroma. A mild caramel sweetness lurking in the back. Not to much more going on. Artificial flavors. It's really cloying sweet this. Thin oily in the mouth and it's above average on the carbonation level. No, sorry I cannot drink this was the message I got from my girlfriend. I totally agree with her, and will instead finish my non alco beverage from the same brewer. Something has gone wrong with this one. 04.08.2014

Bottle at home in London - purchased online from Beermerchants. Pours clear, rich burnished gold with a frothy, off-white head. Rich sugary grains on the nose, mellow caramel and oxidation (this beer is c. one year old), toasted cereal. Medium sweet flavour with more strong, grainy malt character, some honey, gooey caramel, light toffee, some alcohol, jammy citrus. Medium bodied with fine to average carbonation. Sweet finish, faintly warming, with more hearty and sugary cereal, lightly toasted grains, caramel, honey, marmalade. Not bad for a boosty lager.
