12 ounce bottle into pint glass, bottled on 11/8/2012. Pours slightly hazy orange amber color with a nice 2 finger dense cream colored head with great retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lasts. Nice soapy lacing clings down the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation. Aromas of tangerine, grapefruit, orange zest, floral, orange rind, pineapple, bread, light honey, and herbal earthiness. Nice and pleasant aromas with good balance and complexity of hop notes. Taste of tangerine, grapefruit, orange zest, floral, orange rind, pineapple, pine, bread, honey, and herbal earthiness. Fair amount of piney citrus bitterness on the finish; with lingering notes of citrus, citrus zest, pineapple, floral, citrus rind, bread, pine, light honey, and herbal on the finish for a good bit. Good balance and complexity of hop notes; with a good hop/malt balance; and minimal cloying flavors present after the finish. Medium carbonation and body; with a fairly creamy and sticky mouthfeel that is good. Alcohol is very well hidden with only a slight warming noticed after the finish. Overall this is a nice IPA. Good hop complexity and malt balance; and very smooth to drink. A nicely enjoyable offering.

Bottle @ home, sent by jcnielsen. Thanks Jetson! Pours a touch hazy, dark golden orange appearance with a nice, cream colored head. Somewhat fragrant floral, light citrusy hoppy, light potpourri, light caramel nose. Somewhat bitter, potpourri, slightly chewy, orange zesty flavor. Bleh.

12 oz bottle purchased at Gomers in Lee’s Summit, Missouri. The pour is a mostly clear golden orange, with a small off white head. Nice lacing. The aroma is light spice hops, floral, along with some grain malt. The taste is floral, a touch of musty dank, tropical fruit sweetness, all melding well with the toasted malt. The palate is medium bodied, lower carbonation level and dry lightly bitter finish. Nice enough.

Pour is a copper with a small white head. Aroma is distant hops with some caramel malt. Flavor is very malt heavy with a lingering hop toward the end. More of an English IPA but I don’t think that’s what they were going for. Definatly not a west coast IPA as this is malt dominated.
