From tap at Borefts 2016. Aroma is big roasty coffee, mocha, espresso, roasted malt, touch of chocolate, more coffee allround. Flavour is potent grindy coffee bitterness. Body is medium to full, a bit creamy. Nice one, a big treat for this coffee enthusiast!

*rating overgezet* Fles gedeeld door Roelzie. Het is een troebel diep donkerbruin bier met een medium beige schuim. Het heeft een gebrande koffie achtige geur. De smaak is gebrand, chocolade en koffie en wat rokerigs.

Bottle split at CBC Islington, thanks to Leighton, 17/10/18. Black with a well presented tan cap. Nose is coffee bean, light spice, mellow roasted notes, chocolate, charr. Taste comprises cocoa bean, light coffee grinds, molasses, brown sugar melt, dried fruits in the background. Medium plus body, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a balanced rising boost. Nice easy drinking Impy.

Bottle shared at CBC Islington, 17/10/2018. Many thanks. A jet black coloured pour with a lasting fine dark tan head. Aroma is woody coffee, beans, brown roast, . Flavour is composed fo full and creamy woody coffee bean, praline, light wood, . Palate is full and creamy, sticky.

Bottle shared in London - picked up at Kris Wines. Pours black-brown with a foamy beige head. Nose has some chipotle and cocoa. Medium sweet flavour with light ash, some bitter coffee, rich roast, bitter dark chocolate. Full bodied, lightly chewy, with fine carbonation. Lightly warming finish, some brownies, bitter cocoa, light earthy bitterness. Solid.

Bottle at home from De Bierkonig, 1st June 18. Pours thick and black. Aroma is coffee and cocoa, some booze. Taste is coffee, cocoa, milk chocolate, mouth feel is smooth, silky, soft. Not too sweet, enjoyable drinking. Very good.
