330ml bottle probably bought from the brewery, but who knows for sure … and found this evening at the back of my beer fridge here in September 2021 and more than four years past its best before date. Can’t believe I’m rating this, but I will make allowances. Poured a clear medium amber colour with a mostly lasting frothy white head and plenty of initial carbonation. The aroma is grainy malt, light citrus, floral hops. The flavour is moderate bitter, very light sweet, with a crisp, malty, light citrus, herbal, light pepper spice, floral hop bitter palate and a bubbly mouthfeel. Medium bodied with average carbonation. I don’t think the beer improved over time but by the same token, I don’t think the deterioration was too serious either.

Zeer actief licht troebel lichtgeel bier met veel stevig schuim. Bier gutste uit de fles bij openen. Smaak is bitter hoppig en fris met iets van ananas en abrikoos. Zeer geslaagd wat mij betreft.

Borefts VIII. Keg. Lightly hazy gold beer, small pale cream colour head. Palate is light, semi dry and has fine carbonation. Light crisp lager malts, trace of creamy sweetness. Dry floralness. Light grapefruit. Crisp finish. Does the job.

Bottle, 0.33l. Pours hazy golden color with large soapy white head, nice lacing and sparkling appearance. Aroma of tropical fruit, cereals, herbs and biscuit malt. Taste starts light sweet grainy and fruity, following is herbal, mouthfeel is crisp and dry, while finish is pleasantly bitter. Medium body, slick texture and average carbonation in palate. Good one for being my everyday lager...
