On tap at Popeyes. Pours a clear amber color with a medium white head. A nice sweet malty fruity nose. Perfume, light tropical notes, amber caramel base, some toast. Pretty nice.

Keg at Popeye - Tokyo. Pours clear orange-gold with a creamy head. The nose has some faded pine, orange rind, bread crust. Light sweet flavour with more piney hops, dry pale malts, grassy bitterness. Light to medium bodiednwith average carbonation. Pine resin in the finish, more grass, crisp pale malts. Not bad in the end.

Lots of fruits, passion fruit, some bready malts as well. Taste is fresh citrussy sourness at first but with some bitterness later which doesnt fit in my opinion. Easy drinkable. Good but with a little catch.

On tap at Popeye’s. Golden slumbers pale ale 20 IBU 5.5% a cloudy honey gold. The nose is fruity bitter hops but somewhat mild. Medium-light bodied with a zesty mouthfeel. The light bitting citrus hops and biscuity malts are very well balanced. Fruity and sweet - good.

Handpump at Popeye. Dark golden, cloudy, some lace. Grassy, citrus nose, light malts. A bit thin, dry, very hoppy and grassy. Lots of dry hopping, it would seem, and works well in real ale form. Malt needs a lift.
