Bottle at Jopenkerk, Haarlem. Aroma is strong coffee, roasted malt, coffee grounds, chocolate, mocha. Flavour is moderate sweet and medium bitter. Body is medium. Very tasty Coffee Porter, lots and lots of roasty coffee.

Tap @ Fermentoren, Aarhus. Pours black with a small brown head. Aromas of coffee, chocolate, ash, malt, caramel. Taste is toasty, chocolate, caramel, roasty bitter coffee.

Tap @ Borefts. Almost black. Coffee and malt in the aroma and flavor. Malty sweetish. Pleasant.

From the bottle. Brown with a tall, foamy head that collapses. Aroma is coffee, plum and ink. Taste is bitter with sour undertones full of old coffee grounds and sawdust. Finishes with a light, lingering sourness. Body is fairly well carbonated at the outset, but fades to more moderate levels. Medium overall, oddly fluffy in the mouth. Rather rough.

Tap at Fermentoren, Copenhagen. Smell is difficult, mostly lovely portery smells buf something is off. Lovely colour with coke fizz stick. Some coffee ice cream, some stickyness. Overall dunno if its lovely or average.

Bottle at home in Hackney - picked up at Clapton Craft. Pours deep brown with a big, foamy beige head. Rich and rounded coffee character, reminiscent of coffee ice cream, some bitter earth and coffee grounds, background baking cocoa, warming alcohol. Medium bodied with lively, massaging carbonation. Finishes with some ashy roast, bitter dark chocolate, more hearty coffee, mocha. Fun gear.

Il gusto al naso resta catturato dal caffè. L'olfatto viene sollecitato in maniera elevata e la costanza olfattiva è apprezzabile. Il cappello di schiuma resiste poco. La grandezza delle bollicine è medio-fine. Il colore è come l'inchiostro nero. Il corpo è rotondo. L'intensità gustativa è elevata. La continuità gustativa è buona. Il finale è semplice e dissetante. Sulla lingua si fermano sentori di miele, caffè e liquirizia.

Keg at The Kings Arms, Bethnal Green, London. A very dark brown coloured pour with a thin beige head on top. Light roasty, coffee aroma. Tastes slightly roasty, coffee, some chocolate, slightly nutty. Very nice porter.
