650 ml bottle. Pours a copper color with moderate head. Aromas of candied fruit and bread dough. Flavors of candied fruit, light pine, and sweet malts and sweetened pineapple.

22oz bottle picked up in Boise
Pours hazy orange with a small off-white head, some lacing. Aroma is fruity, caramel, dusty and resin. Taste of grapefruit, malts and pine resin
A decent IIPA.

22 oz bottle poured and split. Pours a hazy light orange color with a huge foam head. Soft bready malt aroma. Flavor matches, and is fairly light. Doesn’t really taste imperial to me. Hops mostly in the finish. Lighter than expected, but a good beer overall. Enjoyed this.

Bottle at Imazato. Orange-golden color with lace. Nose of orange, grapefruit, biscuirts. A bit syrupy, but nice citrus flavor, solid bitterness and good, crisp carbonation. A likeable big IPA.

On tap at bier thirty. Pours out a dark golden topped with a small sand head. Nose is pine citrus hops and a sweet malt. Taste is as the nose with a nice hop combo.

On tap at Bier:Thirty, Boise at the Worthy Brewing Tap Take-Over Clear deep golden with a fine smooth off-white head. Subdued hoppy aroma. Light malts. A bit underwhelmed so far. Pretty light bodied and moderate hop profile as well. Their other beers were robust, big and flavorful, but their IPA and now this DIPA, while good, are just not very aggressive. I am impressed with Worthy but they could have aimed higher with these.

2014-06-14, draught at Portland Craft, Vancouver, 6-5-7-3-13=34
Amber color, clean. Both aroma and flavor focus more on caramel than hops. Good body strength, moderate sweetness, and strong bitterness but not much hop character. Good but not impressive.
2014-03-26, draught at Bitter Tasting Room, Vancouver, 8-4-8-5-16=41
Best tapped before feb 17 2014 (we are already 5 weeks late)
Cloudy orange-golden color with compact head. Nice fruity aroma, oranges and apricots; sweat; pungent, some tropical fruit; impression of fresh Cabernet. Smooth mouthfeel, full bodied, but also lean, with just moderate residual sweetness; good malt and toffee flavor, aggressive bitterness, plenty of bitter orange peel, some other fruits too, and delicate flowery touch; very long resiny final.
Interesting, quite original. Drier than the average DIPA, a bit easier to drink.

Nicely hopped ale, piney hops cover the high ABV%. Deep golden color with small creamy head. Aroma is pine and citrus, taste is soft and malty, with hops on the finish. Well done all around.

Clear amber pour with white head and thin lacing. Low expectations due to surprisingly low rating, but was pleasantly surprised by Worthy's IPA so hard to say. Grapefruit aroma, quite sweet and hoppy. Crisp hoppy bitterness - resin and fruit. Rich. Good - would think it was a regular IPA more than DIPA but still quite good and drinkable.

Bottle - Grapefruit, tropical fruits and some mild pine. Light clear copper with a bubbly white head. Sweet tropical fruits and a bit of resin with a good malt backbone. Decent double but nothing spectacular.
