Clear amber pour with white head and thin lacing. Low expectations due to surprisingly low rating, but was pleasantly surprised by Worthy's IPA so hard to say. Grapefruit aroma, quite sweet and hoppy. Crisp hoppy bitterness - resin and fruit. Rich. Good - would think it was a regular IPA more than DIPA but still quite good and drinkable.

Bottle - Grapefruit, tropical fruits and some mild pine. Light clear copper with a bubbly white head. Sweet tropical fruits and a bit of resin with a good malt backbone. Decent double but nothing spectacular.

Sample at Duck Island Saloon. The beer pours a hazy dark golden color with a medium off-white head that diminishes quickly. Stringy lacing on the glass. Aroma of floral hops, malt and fruit. Medium-bodied with a moderately bitter hops character that has floral and piney notes, along with some malt. The finish is hoppy with a fruity aftertaste. Pretty good overall.

Tap at Worthy, Bend, 23/05/13. Lightly hazed golden with a thin off white head. Nose is hops, pine, grass, orange pith, bitter grapefruit. Taste comprises light pine, hops, orange pith, grapefruit. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, hop bitterness in the finish. Ok drinkable stuff but a little subdued and not delivering the big hop kick and pine bite I expect from a DIPA.

On tap at Bailey's Taproom, pours a hazy golden orange with a small white head. Aroma of dry piney hops, biscuity malts and quite a grassy hop bite. Flavour is an uber-dry hop bomb, full of dry piney hops, floral hops and crisp biscuity malts. Full of crisp, dry hoppy goodness - super drinkable. A promising young brewery if this is the mark of their quality overall. Decent stuff.
