(Draught at Maximilians, Berlin, 14 Aug 2024) Golden colour with frothy, white head. Malty nose with bread, grain, grass and herbs. Malty, hoppy taste with notes of bread, grain, grass and a balanced herbal bitterness. Medium body, quite dry. A bit generic, but fresh and tasty. Quite nice.

Tap at bwr Kenya altissimo. Classic cristal clear golden look with a solid white head. Flavor clean malt and intense noble hops, very clean and solid bodied for an intense resiny bitter finish. A personal favorite of mine in thr style, although failty simple. very clean and crisp.

A sörfözőmester kis táfelspitze, keser komlóbomba a szájpadlásnak, semleges papíríz. Irtóztatóan tiszta jellem. Biza Szent Péter is a mennyország kapujában ezzel fürdetheti az elé kerülő lelkeket.

Draft. Pours clear golden with a white head. Aroma of grain, light malt and light hops. Flavour is light sweet and light to moderate bitter. Light bodied with moderate carbonation.

13th Dec 2014: on-tap 0.3 litre glass in Hacker-Pschorr, Hamburg. Golden, bright and clear: white blanket on top. Dry and hop lead in both the aroma and taste: not a lot of anything really though. Refreshing and clean but lacking in intensity and flavour. Bog standard Pilsner.

Catch up rating. Rich and bready with a bit of floral hops on the back end. Definitely more malty than the rest of the lot from Germany, but still squarely in pils territory. Not the greatest pils ever, but one of the better ones in the area for sure.

Ins Glas ergießt sich ein klares goldgelbes Bier mit schöner Schaumkrone. Geruch hopfig, getreidig, grasig. Geschmack hopfig, grasig, lang anhaltende Bitterkeit.
