2XSMASH is the newest in our line of single malt and single hop India Pale Ales, brewed with Mosaic hops and Special pale malt. Even simplified to one variety of hop and one type of malt, it is amazing how complex the flavor is. Mosaic hops are known for their luxurious tropical citrus notes like passionfruit and work absolutely brilliantly with the richness of Special pale malt. Cheers!

From a 12 oz. bottle. Pours a clear copper with an off white head. Grass and pine aroma. Flavors are bitter citrus with some malt sweetness.

While I prefer lighter beers over the double IPAs, this one was pretty drinkable for what it is. Nice resiny and citrus hop flavors, bready malts, pretty clean. Medium mouthfeel. Darkish gold color and foamy head.

Part of their Overpack'd 15-pack from Publix in Kissimmee, Florida. Slightly hazy, golden-orange colour, big frothy light-beige head, good retention and lots of foamy lacing. Lots of oranges in the nose at first, giving sugar notes, fruitiness, but then becomes balanced with some mild grasses. The taste has the bitterness from the hops, lighter citrus notes and alcohol. A warming and dry mouthfeel. Decent, but not as well-balanced as expected for the style. Seems like done quickly, so not blending the alcohol as nicely.

100th NY rating! Pours a dark amber from a can, head dissipates leaving a small skim of bubbles, minimal lacing. Fruity aroma adds a hint of something slightly sour. In the mouth its fine, a nondescript but okay bittersweetness. Okay beer.

12 ounce can. Pours a clear golden color with a medium white head. A big sweet malty caramel hop nose. Very sweet, sticky, hop resin, smooth. Pine. Good. Sorta like a barley wine.

Can at home part my mix 15 watching some insane movie late night. Orange pour. Nose is malty and lime and caramel. Tastes very malty, sugary (it is ST after all), some pine, orange soda. Not really my bag but I’ll drink the over two just the same.
