Tap at Popeye. Hazy golden orange colour. Creamy off-white head. Aroma is medicinal, herbal, apples and bit of banana creaminess. Taste is nice. Crisp, wheaty, ginger more prominent than apple, but apple lurking there in the background and occasionally rising to the surface on some sips. Slight spiciness too. Pretty nice and a good starter.

Draft at Keyaki Spring 2015. Hazy gold with a small creamy white head. The nose is all wheat, ginger and apple. Not overly sweet at all. Great balance with a nice spicy edge from the ginger. The apple takes a backseat as far as flavor but is still noticeable. Medium body with a creamy mouthfeel. Tap at Keyaki. Nice nose of ginger, apple and wheat. Cloudy and golden colored. Tangy, sweetish flavor, apple carries through more than the ginger. Good.

On tap at Beer Keyaki Spring 2014. 5% A cloudy copper gold pour with a nice fruity apple & mild ginger aroma as the name suggest. The taste is more of the same but the wheat and weizen spiciness kick in too. Good. ----July 3rd, 2015---- As MAD SCIENTIST 5% on tap in Toyama. Pouring an orange with a slight pink tinge, milky honey type of clarity. A big juicy Apple 100% juice type of aroma with a ginger earthiness. Really nice flavor but more cider like - Apple, a mild ginger bite, fruity with that ginger in the finish... Yum.
