Tap at iBrew. Really floral aroma, citrus, sharp, bit of roast too. Taste is similarly lemony, but with roast in the back. Parma violets. Most lemony BIPA I've had I think. Nice enough.

Appearance - 8 | Aroma - 7 | Flavor - 7 | Texture - 8 | Overall - 7.5
pitch black color. Big roasty nose with some fruity notes. Mouth has tons of roasted malts with moderate hoppiness. Definitely border line between hoppy stout and black IPA, but well executed and big bitter roasted finish. Not going to set the world on fire, but highly enjoyable nonetheless.

On tap at Beer Keyaki, Spring 2014. IBA a lovely dark pour with a great filmy tan head. A nice fruity hop aroma with a solid underlying dose of Choco malts. Med to light bodied with a zesty mouthfeel. A bit of smoke.

Pitch black with a tan, fine, low head. Lovely nose of Cascadian hops and chocolate, licorice, oranges. Rosty, hoppy flavor. Burnt wood, orange, licorice. Clean. Full but not heavy. Smooth. Very good, with a bitter, burnt finish.
