330ml bottle brought round by a friend. Hmmm, I thought... Theakston do Innis and Gunn? The base beer is better for a start. Not sure the oak chips are adding a great deal. Kinda grassy. Not great.

Bottle 500ml. [ As Theakston Distillers Cask Range Finest Masham Ale ].Clear medium orange amber color with a small to average, fizzy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, sweet malt, toffee, light wood. Flavour is moderate sweet with a long duration, sweet malt, caramel, wood. Body is medium, texture is watery to oily, carbonation is soft. [20140523]

DØE. Clear amber with an off-white head. Aroma is sweet, malty, caramel and moderate hoppy - straw. Flavor is quite sweet and moderate bitter. Sweet and moderate bitter finish. 230514

DØE, 14. Clear dark amber/brown with small off-white head. Aroma is malt, caramel, fruit, toasted, little plume and wood. Flavour is malt, caramel, toasted, medium sweet, hop, wood, dark fruits, little plume and a little bitter.

Bottle from Vinens Verden. Hazy copper with a small white head. Fruity aroma with apple, prune and plums, bready malts and a touch of oak. Sweet malty and fruity flavour with a hint of alcohol

Bottle. Creamy off-white good mostly lasting head. Amber colour. Moderate malty and light hoppy aroma. Light bitter flavor. Average light bitter finish. Some strange oak and maybe whisky? Oily palate. Messy beer.

Bottled. A red beer with a beige head. The aroma has notes of butterscotch and malt. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt and butterscotch, leading to a bitter finish.

33 cl bottle. Pours clear and golden yellow to orange with a small white head. Aroma is toasted malty and light caramelish. Sweet and light toasted malty, light caramelosh. Dry and light toasted finish.
