0,5 l bottle. A clear darkest red brown with an huge more than two finger foamy liegt beige head. Looks really good. Malty caramel smell. Taste is more roasty than expected, dry bitter hop with caramel and hop. Long lasting aftertaste.

Bottle picked up from the brewery webshop in a mixed case of 8 plus glass, and consumed at home Tuesday 20th July 2021 sat outside after a Beer School with Nat session, Level 2 Session 3. We had a Salmon Gratin for tea. Pours clear gold, excellent clarity, with a white head. Pours brown with a light beige head, caramel and a light maltiness on the nose and also in the mouth. Slight dusty hoppiness to this, a little bit lacking in character when compared to the impressive run of beers that had come before.

Keyaki. Bit fruity, some caramel, nice enough but sample was a little small to tell as it ran out.

Bottle:Chestnut-amber coloured, clear, small off-white head; dryish toasty-caramelly nose with traces of coffee and molasses, some hops underneath; dryish bitter-sweet flavour, light to medium bodied and pretty soft; slightly lingering toasty-malty finish. Quite right...

Bottle looks good. Beer in the glass zippy, light brownish. Starts mild, roasty, not too intense. Light notes of caramel. Modest sourish, not too much. Finish mild, well balanced, roasty-malty. Not bad!

Ins Glas ergießt sich ein dunkelbraunes Bier mit schöner Schaumkrone. Geruch röstmalzig, Karamell, leicht würzig. Geschmack angenehm röstmalzig, leichte schokoladige Noten, leicht würzig.

Draught at Qbrick. Brown-orange with a fine, low head. Caramel and chocolate in the nose, though not all that fragrant. Light raisins too. Light, rather crisp flavor of caramel and chocolate, with light cinnamon, not overly sweet or malty, with decent hop bitterness. Light and clean for a dunkel, nice enough. Very drinkable.

(bottle) Dark brown colour with a medium-sized and tanned foamy head. Slightly molassy dark malty aroma with traces of cacao and slightly skunky veggie notes of sugar beet. Sweet flavour, light to medium bodied with a modest carbonation. Dark malty taste, again with notes of sugar beet and a touch of molasses; sweet and slightly sticky finish with notes of metal and traces of chocolate in the aftertaste. Not the best brew of the Plank collection. 16.I.14

500ml bottle. Clear, ruby red glowing, mahogany colour with average, frothy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, off-white head. Dark malty aroma, a touch of malt lozenge, hoppy overtones have a wet grassy touch. Taste is dry dark malty with a cautious touch of treacle, very subtle sweetness, dry hoppy overtones. Nothing special.
