On tap at Anthony’s SeaTac. Pours a clear orange amber with a white head that dissipates to the edges and laces. Aroma has a strong pine note with a bit of bitter citrus and a light sweet grain backbone. Flavor has a combination of bitter and citrus with pine and a bit of bread supporting.

Medium amber orange with a white, creamy head. Citrus and pine in the aroma with a bit of a sweet malt profile, too. Medium bodied. Flavor is mostly citrus and floral with a decent pine, too. A bit sweet underneath the hops. The finish is mildly dry with lingering bitterness. Quite a nice IPA.

Draft pour pint at the Silverdale brewery location. Pours a copper color with a huge bubbly head. Sweet malty aroma. Thick body. Creamy, with a low bitter hop finish. Good IPA overall.

Draught at Kokopelli, Port Angeles
Amber color with creamy head. Hop aroma and some toasted malts. Dryish mouthfeel; something is strange with the malts, but it has a nice fox grape touch; strong bitterness and plenty of hop resins. It has a light unfortunate vegetable touch.
Nice.

On tap at the GJBF Osaka. Classic kind of copper gold color to this IPA, the aroma is kind of pine, mild funk, citrus-a really floral bouquet. Interesting stuff, very clean taste with mostly a biting bitterness. A top quality though slightly one dimensional IPA (the only American PA on tap at the fest), very bitter. I really like the aroma though the flavor isn’t as complex. Solidly made beer, well done but not my style. Well executed. ----update------ a clear copper color, citrus, pine, resin, herbal/floral aroma with the taste being a really delicious fruity hoppiness with a kick of bitter pine. Having outside the beer fest definitely let this beer shine more. A good IPA.

Tap at GJBF 2013. Nose of stewed fruit, citrus, grain. Slightly thick and syrupy body, but nice enough.

Bottle, 22oz. It pours a muddy dark golden-orange body and a small, dense, off-white head. The aroma is peachy and piney, with some grassy hints and notes of bready malts. The flavor goes in the same direction, with a nice bitterness to support the malts. A nice fruityness chimes in, along with some sweetness and pale malts. It’s full-bodied and quite dry, with pleasant carbonation, and the ABV is barely detectable. Wonderful piney and citrusy finish. Although it looks a bit dull, it’s certainly a nice beer. A tad sweet maybe, but I sure like it. 130702

On tap at Elizabeth Station, pours a hazy copper orange with a small white head. Aroma of piney and floral hops, a little orange fruit, and some caramel malt. Flavour brings out dry citrusy and orangey hops, bitter floral hops, and slightly caramelized biscuity malt. The hops are fairly astringent on this one, with sufficient malt to back. Solid IPA.

Bright copper coloured body with an orange glow and a thick, two centimetre tall just off-white head. Aroma of bright floral and piney hops with a good malt backbone and a little apricot and peach sweetness. Medium-bodied; Nice assertive floral and perfumey hop notes in the taste with a solid malt flavour with some toffee noticeable, but more of the sugars from fruits are noticeable. Aftertaste shows a lot of piney and floral hop flavours with a hint of sweetness, but a great balance and a very nice hoppy flavour. Overall, great to try and well worth finding it if you can get it! I sampled this 65 cL bottle purchased from Whole Foods in Seattle (Westlake), Washington on 08-February-2013 for US$4.99 sampled a few hours later in my hotel room here in Seattle.
