Tap at Popeye. Dark red/brown colour, no head. Aroma is vinous, boozy, fruity, bit of marzipan too. Dark fruits. Taste is nice, very smooth, very fruity, boozy sweetness, very full bodied. Lovely. Long sweet boozy finish. Pretty nice. Can't taste the 14%. Cherry, bit of plum.

very dark brown color. Tons of raisins, plums, dark fruit, dark cherries, dark chocolate, The body is surprisingly light, lots of plums and raisins, mildly tart with oak just poking through. Dry. Very drinkable for the ABV.

I am guessing this is the Outsider Aged Plum Barleywine I had on tap at Tadg’s. He hung onto the keg for a year so it was a treat to try it, even better in that I got the last glass from the keg! Rich plum, figs & candied pitted fruit in the nose. It poured a dark rich brown with a thick foamy head(end of the keg). Smooth, fruity, chocolate, some heat & plums. Really good stuff, full bodied. Sublime.

Tap at Popeye, Tokyo. Black colour with no head. Aroma of plum, alcohol. Flavour is plum with a bunch of alcohol, chocolate.

Tap at Watering Hole. Black, flat. Woody nose, with plum, chocolate, cocoa. Dry, woody flavor, booze, chocolate, no ume left in the flavor. Soft, lightly prickly carbonation. Very interesting.
