Bottle shared with and courtesy of an on-heat platypus on an Artic Den Haag winter’s eve. Cloudy amber brown with a tan head. Aroma of herbs, chocolate, malt and caramel. Flavour is moderate sweet and bitter. Medium bodied with soft carbonation.

Bottle @ home. Dark red-brown color with a medium sized off-white to beige head that lasts for quite a while. Smell and taste malts, brown malts, more bitter than I had expected, caramel. Decent body and carbonation.

Sampled at Zythos 2016. Thnx for sharing, everyone ! Pours dark brown, rather clear. Small white head. Smell is sweet, aromatic dark Sugar. Taste is bitter, high carbo, caramelly, dark Sugar.

From tap. Pours hazy brown with a dmall tan head. Aroma is toasted malty and caramelish to toffee. Smooth fruity, toasted malty and caramelish. Slight breadish. Toasted and mild sweet finish.

Sample @ Zythos’16, courtesy of and shared with the RB Belgian crew. Ambrée, col beige. Arôme offer une pointe d’épice, cara pale et léger grillé, impression d’épice de Garam masala. Palais est malté, accompagné d’un léger profil épicé, girofle, caramel malté.

Brown color with beige head. Aroma is roasted malts, coffee. Taste is roasted malts, coffee, some butter. Medium carbonation. Hmm... flavour is there, but it doesn’t quite work out.

Sampled @ ZBF 2016 (Thank you for sharing BE RB CREW!) Dark amber, tanned. Nose is oily, watery, metallic, huge wet dog. Taste is metallic, wet dog, herbal, pine, wet dog. Very metallic & watery. Not good at all. Brewed at Grain d’Orge, that says enough;

Trübes dunkel orange braunes Bier mit geringen leicht beigen Schaumkrone. Geruch nach roten Früchten, dunkles Malz, Gewürze. Geschmack mild röstmalzig, Gewürze, Karamell.
