Looking for a beer with a bit lighter alcohol content? (What? Why? Just kidding! We all enjoy a great-tasting beer with less alcohol so we can drink A LOT MORE of it!) Our brewers created Alpha Session Ale with the same big flavors as an IPA, but lower alcohol content… so you can drink more of them. I’m definitely not complaining about that...
Hopped with Simcoe, Citra and CTZ.

Bottled at Four Points Bar. Nose of metal, soap, bread and citrus. Light malt flavor, crisp with metallic and citrus hops. Good for such a low ABV.

Bomber from Bine & Vine. Pours gold with a fizzy/creamy white head. Nice aroma of citric/resin hop over caramel. Near med body. Flavor is a little thin, the caramel is a bit up front, but it’s very, very bitter. Citrus and resin to me. Quite tasty.

Draft. Amber beer with a cream colore head. Grapefruit aroma. Grapefruit and light grain flavor with light tropical fruits. Medium-light bodied. Grapefruit and light grain lingers. I wanted to like this more.

On tap. Pours with a huge white head. Clear golden body. Aroma is citrusy, pine, light and floral. Light, dry and floral favors. Lightly grainy and husky. Light bodied, lively and dry.
7/4/6/4/14: 3.5
Re-rate: $5.99 22oz bottle (fresh). Price fits the session theme. Pours with a very slightly hazed golden yellow hued body with a small white head (frothy, lasts, good lace). Aromas are of complete dankness. Weed, spicy, tropical fruit, tangerine, simcoe, pine, guava and passionfruit. Intensely pungent and hop forward. Very little malt character. Flavor is quite a bit maltier, bready, grainy, light wet dog/dms. Hop character is still strong and pungent. Medium bitterness, pine, tropical fruit. Dry, no lingering bitterness. Quite good!
