Draught @ McSorley's Old Ale House in February 2013. A cheeky tick as cannot recall much about it.

Tap. Unclear amber color with white head. Aroma is decent hops, caramel, earthy, fudge. Taste is the same. Oily mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Alright!

Reviewed from notes.
This was always poured into a pint glass.
The appearance was a semi-decent looking pale golden amber color with a decent half finger-ed white foamy head that barely lasted for twenty seconds. Lacing, uh...what lacing, there wasn’t any.
The smell, well, it had that soapy/British malts that doesn’t bother me like it does most people, fuggles (earthy) hops.
The taste was semi-sweet through the British malts.
The palate sat about a light to medium and tried to show somewhat of decent sessionability but I found myself really only having about one in a time period. Carbonation seemed fairly clean and crisp and slightly smooth.
Overall, uh...for the most part, just another regular English Pale Ale that doesn’t excite but still shows its worth if one happens to put this with some fish n’ chips.

355 ml bottle, paid only 178 yen for this one @ Jiyugaoka Garden. Pours dark amber, a bit hazy with a nice foam top - that is gone in minutes. Aroma is nice and fruity, melon. First sip reveals quite high carbonation that this beer has, along with a nice bitter aftertaste. Good session beer.
