Nomikurabe @ Oedo Beer Festival at Machida. Pours amber, relatively clear, some foam that actually stays around for quite a while. Looks like a take on aBritish IPA and well, that's what it is. Malty and lightly sweet nose, not much bitterness there. Very malty, actually sweet with lots of residual sugar, low bitterness. Would not qualify this as an IPA, to0 sweet and too little bitterness. Somewhat drinkable though.

6% mini-glass at Nagisa Beer Dining at lunch. A copper gold pour with a light beige foamy head which clings to the glass. Very nice spicy fruity aroma with grapefruit, grape & tropical fruit notes-very appetizing! Another full bodied beer, good malty body with hints of caramel, a mild bitter bite & some hop fruity notes. A milder less in your face IPA but quite good. At night, I had a glass which in the low light had a more reddish tint & the head was a slightly darker looking beige. The aroma was fruity with a bit more of a wine like character to it. Full-bodied, the flavor was malt at first then it segwayed into a mildly acerbic bitter & fruity finish.

tons of apricots, moderate bitterness, well balanced. Fairly unique due to the apricots. Nice

Draught at Q-Brick. Nice spicy hop aroma, grassy, hay, pine, caramel. Big caramel flavor, quite sweet, grassy hops, and a nice, bitter, peppery finish. Decent. Well balanced, though really quite like a malty ESB.
