Bottled@Rådhuskällaren, Umeå. Hazy golden colour with minor head. Aroma is sour wood, funk andsome rubbery and dusty notes. Flavour is rubbery, dusty, some strange tartness and lactic notes. Lots of unclean elements, even for a sour beer.

11/IX/21 - 37.5cl bottle @ BBGG Summer Edition (Klaas & Liesbeth's place), BB: 15/X/26 (2021-1042) Thanks to 77ships for sharing the bottle!

Clear pale blond to orange beer, practically no head. Aroma: very fruity notes, sourish impression, funky. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: very bitter, hoppy, bit soapy, lemony, grapefruit, dirty. Aftertaste: very bitter, soapy, bit dirty, meh, not very great…

Small rim, transparant, over fully clear metallic old-golden beer, big bubbled. Phenolic, tarr, plastic, burnt rubber, smelling totally artificial. Soured vegetable, old oxydized grain, and again burnt plastic, burnt rubber, thinner, artificial. Glazed stale almond cookies. Light, undercarbonated, with a strange - artificial again - slickness. Awful. Calling this gueuze ought to be punishable by law. Thanks to Stef for bringing!

Bottle. Golden color. Citrus,, vinegar and chloride in the aroma. Sweetish, sour flavor with citrus, a hint of vinegar, oak, chloride and sulphur. Weird.

Bottle at home shared by Maakun, thanks! Hazy pale amber with white head. Sweet malts, parfume, trashbag plastic, burnt matches, massive floral and herbal notes, eucalyptus and anise, fruity lemon, grapefruit, grapes, peach, big floral notes, yellow flowers. Daffodils. Weird chemical plasticcy. Feels like 12%. Moderate sour with sweet edges and moderate bitterness. Medium body and soft carbonation. Pretty weird stuff. --- Beer merged from original tick of Sour The System - on 29 Dec 2017 at 12:16 - Score: 6. Original review text: 3.1

Bottle shared with sjogro. Hazy golden with nice white head. Looks promising. Smells like peach and weird herbs. Oh yeah, now I took a sip, wow: massive weird herbs, baby poop, alcohol, dough, more peach, garbage bags, sulphur, glue, old wood, funk, Brett, perfume, dusty pineapple. Just medium sweet and sour, with just medium bitter finish. Medium bodied with soft velvety carbonation and some alcohol. It looks ok, smells ok, has a nice body but it tastes SUPER weird. It’s not that bad, it’s just unlike anything I’ve ever tried and I hope to keep it that way. Way too much perfume and plastic.

Thnx to Kermis !!! Pours unclear blonde, small white head. Smell is funky, oak, mild sourness. Taste is full, sour, ( kettlesour, I guess ) lactic, some oak. Not too complex. Too much vegetables ( I hope it’s not DMS ? ) and def not as refined or complex as a geuze-style should be . In fact, this should not be compared to geuze, even. Sorry roberto ! I love your heavy, dark stuff, but this makes it seem like sours aren’t your thing man....

Thank you Kermis for this strange treat. 375 ml. bottle sampled @ O.B.E.R. Kerstbierfestival 2016. Hazy orange, soapy white bubbles. Nose is urinal cakes, oddly big on white sugar, chemical sweet, spoiled, industrial plastic. Taste is soap, sugar, vegetable, lacks all lambiek funk, zero lambiek profile, soap, green, industrial, weak, chemical bitter, overly vegetable. Body is vegetables & soap. I suppose that much like one has to praise a kid in special class that made a nice macaroni paining, I have to be positive about this one. It doesn’t taste like a geuze & it is very weak by sour beer standards. Credit is due where credit is due, this was made at Panil & I have had Panil Divina (Barrel Aged) twice, once it was only slightly better than this & I tried another bottle after this one, it was far worse than this. You are opening yourself to ridicule by calling this a geuze.
