Cask at the Knott Bar, Manchester. Clear gold colour with a thick creamy white head and plenty of lace. Fairly restrained nose with some citrus and grassy hop lurking in the shadows. In good nick and pretty clean, but the palate lacked any real depth to it. Dryish rather underwhelming bitter finish. Disappointingly average and probably my least favourite offering thus far from an otherwise excellent stable

Cask at Cask pub and kitchen, Pimlico, London. Hazy, golden coloured pour with a medium white head. Hoppy aroma. Tastes fruity, hoppy, malty, bitter. Quite drinkable but not strong enough.
