great black pour, good sized brownish head. Wonderful dark roasted malt aroma, with a mix of coffee, and a touch of chocolate. flavour is complex. Great rosted malty, smokey flavour. A great coffee finish. A touch of bitterness in the end, a nice smokey coating in my mouth, GREAT porter.

On tap at St. Augustine's, pours an amber-tinged black with a medium tan head. Aroma reveals cocoa powder upfront, a milky quality, and maybe a hint of roast. Flavour follows accordingly, with a milky palate - dry cocoa powder dominates the flavour. Smooth and creamy on the palate. Nice porter.
