Review based on the BJCP2015 guidelines (style 12C). Bottle 75 cl - Batch L2828052. AROMA: moderate hop aroma with notes of resin and tangerine. faint malt background. APPEARANCE: light ambar color and translucent. moderate slight ivory head with good retention. TASTE: moderate hop flavour similar to the aroma (tangerine and slightly resiny). low sweet malt background (and somewhat felling artificial) without any discernible notes. medium-high bitterness that lingers beyond a semi-dry finish. PALATE: medium-light to light body. medium-high carbonation. no hop-derived astringency. OVERALL: an IPA from a macro brewer with nice aroma but with less intense malt flavour and somewhat felling artificial on the palate. A nice try but needs improvement.
