16 oz. can. Pours black, with a big, dense, tan head. The nose is lots of vanilla, milk chocolate, dark cherries, oak, brown bread, and anise. Sweet and malty, with a mellow, bracing bitterness. Very heavy body, with a thick and syrupy palate. Balanced, wonderfully aromatic, and decadent, without being too cloying.

330 ml can. Murky black with a big fluffy stable mocha coloured head. A lot of vanilla, toffee, caramel, tonka, some bitter almond, burnt malt. Strong bitterness, some caramel sweetness. Full bodied, slick oily texture, soft carbonated, bitter finish, alcohol well hidden. Nice vanilla aroma, but the bitterness is a bit unpleasant, but still a good one!

330ml can from RusBeerShop in Moscow. Pours opaque black with a small tan head. Aroma is vanilla, waffles, dark malt. Taste is medium to heavy sweet (but not cloying), vanilla, dark malt, brown sugar. Mild bitter finish. Excellently balanced.

330ml bottle. Jet black colour with late awakening, very small, creamy, fading, brown head. Roasty, chocolately, dark malty, minimally smoky and oaty aroma, hints of caramel, milk chocolate, a touch of leather and vanilla. Taste is roasty dark malty, chocolately, minimally sweet, spicy, notes of dark chocolate, hints of vanilla, houndreds and thousands, a touch of burnt caramel. If reincarnation is a fact, i might be born again as a vanilla fan able to appreciate this kind of (Impy) Stouts - but never in this life.
