Drank at the Luxembourg Christmas market. Deep red with a tan head. Toasted malts, a touch of sweet fruit, light roast, a hint of toffee. Medium to full body. Maybe not super interesting but totally fine and easy going.

0,33 l bottle out of the big box from Erzengel. Thanks a lot! Clear dark red brown in the glass with a more than one finger beige frothy head. Sweet malty caramel smell. Taste starts thin, little malty, metallic hints. Also not realy complex in the second part. Boring. Can not really convince.

Bottle from Woodman's Oak Creek, 2/5/20. Labeled Christmas Lager. Aroma is oddly skunky with some caramel and toast. Taste is caramel, toffee, cherry, tea leaves, a hint of skunk. Medium bodied, slick and oily, flat. Odd but not bad.

F: big, tan, not long lasting. C: dark with dark red tones against the light, clear. A: malty, caramel, bit brown sugar, bit herbal, bit dark fruits. T: chocolate malty, bit cocoa, caramel, brown sugar, all together very watery, some biscuits, not my cup of beer style for Christmas beer, but still ok for the style, medium body and carbonation, 33cl bottle from Cora Woluwe-Saint-Lambert in Brussels.

Thanks to Erzengel for that one! Bottle looks good. Beer in the glass brownish, nice head. Starts fine malty, modest spicy, a bit dry. Light fruity notes of raisins. Finish well balanced, a bit boring-malty. Okay.

A bit late for Christmas beer, but never mind. Pours a dark amber color topped with a decent slightly off color head. The aroma is quite strong - hoppy, slightly soury and yeasty. The taste is mild and creamy. There’s some malts and roasty feel, as well as some nice easy bitterness. A very decent one.
