No head on pale golden coloured body. Mint & cat piss aroma. Lime, mint, bubblegum & sweet sugary taste. That's bad.

Bottle. Sort of golden color, no head. Aroma is lime dominated. Flavor is artificial, lime dominated as well. Well, as was to be expected. Fortunately not too much mint.

Bottled (from Systembolaget Delfingatan Luleå). Golden colour, small white head. Aroma is floral, some mint and lemongrass tones. Very toothpaste like aroma. And very toothpaste like flavour. Minthe, lemongrass and some slight lime.

--Sample, thanks oh6gdx! -- Desperados is such a legendary beer. It has inspired more or less then entire craft beer industry as we know it today, when all we see on our shelves are comercially branded stuff filled to the brim with auxilliary flavours, often artificial ones. To be clear, Desperados was also one of the most horrible beers ever to have been produced at the time. Of course it is wat surpassed by other, more expensive ones. This version is clear golden with mid sized head. Aroma of pure artifical Mojito extract. Syrupy sweet with light to medium body and clean, sticky mouthfeel. No bitterness. Not the slightest intimidated by this one anymore - it is pretty much middle of the road I'm afraid.

ABV: 5.9%. Clear medium yellow colour with a large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, white head. Aroma is moderate malty, pale malt, sweet malt, minerals, mint, lime, teqila, toothpaste. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet with a long to average duration, sweet toothpaste, lime, mint, sweet lime, teqila. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20221105]
