From the tap at FOB, Rimini, Italy. Pours almost black with fluffy and persistent whitish foam. Aroma is malt, caramel, burnt candies, licorice. Body is dense, some stickiness, low carbonation. Taste is moderately sweet and bitter in the beginning, with bitterness remaining longer in the finish, which is also reminiscent of liquor.

F: medium tan, not long lasting. C: dark, some red tones against the light. A: red fruits, caramel, bit butter, prunes. T: malty, toffee, red fruits, bit cocoa, cherries, medium body and carbonation, good, enjoyed, sample @ Brassigaume Festival 2017 in Marbehan (BE).

Sampled @ Brassigaume 2017. A clear reddish brown beer with a small tan head. Aroma of red malt, resinous hops, raisins, prunes. Taste of red fruits, caramel, dark malt, prunes, raisins. Nice.
