deep yellow, very small white head, good lacing though, Aroma is grainy, but there are some hops in there. mouthfeel is smooth, but the carb is a little tame. Flavour is grainy, and corny, but the hops are there. A good quenching beer, not too bad, i like the stuff from these guys. They might stick to safe types of beer, and be a tad bit boring, but what they do they do very well.

475ml. can. @home, 10/04/2024 [#7.045 Global - #78 Canada - #3 Boréale - Brasseurs du Nord] Pours golden with a mid-sized lacing white head. Aroma: spiced grains, sweet pale malts, mild floral hops and honey. Taste: spiced malts and mild citrus. High carbonation. Clean palate. Next one please!

Can from beerrepublic. Unclear orange golden color with white head. Aroma of oranges, tangerines, zest. Taste is oranges, zest, light fruity sweetness, citrus hops, toast. OK.

F: normal sized, white, average retention. C: gold, light hazy. A: malt, grassy, floral, toast, caramel. T: malt, light grassy/floral bitterness, toast, grainy sweet, light to medium body, medium carbonation, good one, 341ml bottle from Christmas market in Brussels.

Pours clear golden with a white head. Aroma has notes of malt, grain, grass and floral. Taste is light sweet and light bitter with a long malty and grassy finish. Body is light to medium, texture is thin to oily, carbonation is soft.

On tap. A clear golden beer with a small white head. The aroma is weak, lightly fruity sweet with grass and pine cone notes. Hay too. It’s smooth and rather thin in the palate, very soft carbonation. There’s some bitterness in the flavor, but it’s mostly grass, hay and pale malts. Semi-long finish. Rather boring, but flawless. 150611

This along with Noir, Blanche & Rousse remind me of my days in college and hitting the Miami in the Plateau. Good times, there standard blonde ale, more flavorful than a lager but less than a true blonde. Pretty good.

Bouteille 341ml. De couleur dorée et claire. Nez de grains de malt pâle avec des notes de miel, de biscuits et de houblon herbeux aux traces florales. Mince-moyenne en bouche avec un pétillement moyen et une texture aux notes aqueuses. très faibles traces fruitées (agrumes) rapidement éclipsé par goût de grains de malt pâle lors de l’entrée en bouche auquel se rajoute un des notes de biscuits et de miel puis en finale l’on retrouve un léger goût amer de houblon floral aux petites notes herbeuses. Post-goût court, légèrement amer de houblon floral.

33cl bottle, BB 12/2012 bought at Brussels X-mas market. Dorée, col blanc. Arôme donne de suite cette impression de sucre résiduel avec un grains qui suit juste en retrait, caramel avec un houblon qui reste faiblard. Palais est moyennement amer et houblonné, grains/céréales, malt pâle, carapils et cette sorte de douceur qui reste présente tout au long de cette dégustation. On se retrouve devant une bière des plus banales et loin de ce que cette ’Belle Province’ est capable de brasser.

En fût. Couleur jaune-orangée voilé, mousse blanche. Arôme de pomme, levure, malt. Goût de pomme, levure, alcool, légere amertume. Carbonatation faible, corps moyen-faible.
