Keg at soder om smaland, Malmo, RBESG ’15 day 2, 21/08/15. Murky amber with a well appointed light beige covering. Nose is pissy citrics, dank notes but in a stagnant kind of way, bitter orange. Taste comprises soapy notes, bitter orange, earthy, citric peel. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Not great.

Tap during RBESG2015, Day 2, Malmö, Sweden - fuzzy amber coloured pour with off-white head. Fruity hoppy and malty aroma and taste, some subdued notes of grapefruit, lemon, pine, not doing much for me.

Bottle @ [ DOE - Olfestival Kobenhavn 2015 ] @ Lokomotivvaerkstedet, Otto Busses Vej 5A, 2450 Copenhagen SV, Denmark. [ As South Plains Hoptimus Erectus ].Unclear - hazy medium dark amber - brown color with a average to large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, light beige head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, roasted, caramel, wood, berry. Flavor is moderate to light heavy sweet and moderate bitter with a long duration, wood, berry - fruity, dark malt. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20150528]

Bottle at KØ15. Caramelly and grassy hop aroma. Cloudy amber colour. Very big and quite stable frothy off-white head. The flavour has a grapefruity hop note like so many others of the style. Clean bitterness. Hint of yeast in the finish.

DØE. Hazy brown with a beige head. Aroma is sweet, malty, caramel, dark malts and light hoppy. Flavor is medium sweet and moderate bitter. Dry and moderate bitter finish. 280515

Bottle, KØ15. Pours hazy amber with rocky off-white head. Clear aroma of hops and citrus, with malty touches. Bitter, hoppy flavour, with citric notes and mild touches of yeast and malt. Low carbonation. Bitter and citric aftertaste. Decent but too watery.

Flaska från SB. Smak och doft av humle, malt, citrus, blodapelsin och grapefrukt. Lagom sötma, något sträv och bitter, beska med smak av grapefrukt och citrusskal.

Bottle from Systembolaget Hansa, July 2014. Hazy amber/orange with a medium white head. Aroma of pineapple, hay and citrus. The taste was bitter with hops, some pineapple, hay and grapefruit. Also some light notes of "plastic". The finish was bitter. Pity about the plastic.

Bottled. An amber beer with a lazing yellowish head. The aroma has notes of citrus fruits, hops, and straw. The flavor has very strong astringent notes of citrus fruits - a bit over done on the hops on a malty and strawy back ground.
