Draft at ibrew Ginza. Pale amber/gold colour, small white head. Aroma is pineapple sweets, bit of malt too. Taste pineapple, increasing further down. Quite malty. Bit of yeast. Slight hoppiness. Not bad and quite good on a hot day but not a mind blower. --- Beer merged from original tick of Pineapple Ale on 09 Sep 2019 at 16:06 - Score: Appearance - 6 | Aroma - 8 | Flavor - 7 | Texture - 6 | Overall - 7. On tap pours out crisp clear straw-colored top with a small fizzy head. Nose is sweet pineapple juice a little bit of honey some grass. Taste is more of the nice sweet honey notes a little dry and a touch of earthy grass pops.

Tap @ BeerFes Yokohama, September 17th, 2017. Nice golden pour with some white foam on top. Nose has some dusty biscuits, bit also some pineapple. Taste has more pineapple, quite clear flavours. Medium body, fruity and hop finish. Not bad for a pineapple beer, on the lighter and sweeter side I guess.

On tap at craft beer market jimbocho summer 2014. Served in a half pint glass. Clear golden pineapple yellow color with a small off-white head. Strong pineapple aroma with a hint of clover honey and mint. The aroma is much more pleasing than the taste. Slightly malty and earthy hops present with a rough bitter dry finish. Was expecting something different...pineapple didn’t really shine through much.

Bottle from Asahiya. 5% served in a tulip. A clear gold with a thick foamy head, a nice aroma of honey, pineapple & grains. Medium to light bodied with a scratchy rough mouthfeel, I want my fruit beers to be softer. The taste is earthy, a bit rough with some pineapple. It is ok but I want it sweeter & smoother closerbyobthe common pineapple beer cocktail in Japan. As it warmed up it gave me a bit more of what I was looking for, more pineapple flavor.

On tap at Ant ’n Bee, August 2013. Clear golden with a small white head. This was a light one with light hops, pineapple and some citrus. Also some notes of malt. Drinkable and nicely refreshing despite the light body.
